Higher Education Grant
eUBET Student Scholarship
A goal of the USDA/NIFA eUBET grant is to recruit students for USDA careers. To that end, the eUBET grant will award a college or university scholarship to one student for up to $50,000 for up to two years. The scholarship can pay for tuition, room and board, books and required equipment, supplies and course fees, research supplies and travel to symposia or approved academic or grant-related conferences. High school seniors, community college, and undergraduate university students that have successfully completed one or more eUBET bioscience courses (BIO 107, BIO 175, BIO 241, BIO 245, BIO 247, or BIO 214 or 215) at a participating high school are eligible to apply. Students must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 GPA scale) and a college GPA of 3.0 or higher (if applicable) to be eligible for this scholarship. Eligible students must agree to complete a six-eight week paid USDA summer internship.
